About us

Our people

Homesdale is a charity and managed by a Committee comprising of volunteers who either are a member of, or have connections with local Churches. Naturally, Christian concern and commitment to meeting the needs of our residents is central to the work of Homesdale.

The Committee is responsible for supervising the governance and administration of Homesdale. The Committee meets four times a year, and provides strategic direction, guidance and advice to the senior staff team.

Staff Team

The daily management of both residential care and sheltered housing is the responsibility of the General Manager.

The Care Manager works closely with the team of over 15 residential care, and domiciliary care staff who have many years of care experience and skills and are NVQ care qualified. The care team in both the residential care home and domiciliary care service provide personalised care based on individual needs. They are supported by cooks , laundry staff, cleaners and an Activities Co-ordinator.

The warden team work within sheltered housing offering support and reassurance to the residents of the complex. The wardens help with individual needs and worries and are on hand in an emergency.

To support the running of the complex there are administration and maintenance staff.

Homesdale also has Pastoral Workers who support the Wardens and Care Manager with visiting residents, hosting and arranging on-site weekly Christian services and are available for conversation and prayer.
